Helpful Tips to Minimize Female Hair Loss

All hair loss is upsetting, but as a woman, I tend to think that it’s the men that go bald, hair loss doesn’t, or shouldn’t affect women.  We have enough issues to deal with.

Sadly, female hair loss is a thing, and it is among the most challenging of skincare issues.  There is no conventional medical treatment for it, and while holistic medicine does have options, they aren’t always effective. I have created a list of different holistic treatments and options that might be of help to women suffering from hair loss.

Some things on the list will work for one person, some things will  work for others. There is no rhyme or reason that I have discovered, and there is certainly not one magic pill that works for everyone.

The most effective approach is the trifecta of diet, exercise and topical treatments. Holistic medicine treats the body as a whole unit, and what’s happening to your hair isn’t separate from what’s happening in your digestive system, so you are best off with including all three aspects in your path to healthier hair.

Below is a list divided into three categories: nutrition, exercise and topical treatments.  There will be do’s and don’ts in each category.  The best approach is the triple prong approach, treating it internally as well as externally but I am more than aware of how difficult dietary changes are.  The best approach is to do what you can without it making yourself more miserable than your hair loss is already making you.  Remember that anything you do will be for you and only you!

I am happy to hear feedback from you.  Let me know if anything here helps you or even if it doesn’t.  And for those of you who have found something that has helped you that isn’t listed here, please share it with me.  I am always happy to learn of any treatment that works.
